The room is very basic but sound, new wireing and a quick coat of paint is all that is planned. There as a large walk through cupboard between this and the Maids lounge. A staircase leads to the maids kitchen below. The door to the upper corridor was bricked up but has now been opened again. The bedroom door is a very simple ledge and brace design and appears very old. The ceiling needed a bit of repair and the walls were painted in lime wash as original, emulsion tends to turn brown if applied over old lime wash. The stair were painted grey and the ceiling plaster boarded, a bulkhead light was fitted as the is limited headroom.
